Pretty In Pink

Standard

Pink has long been my favourite colour. Ever since I stopped being a tree climbing, bow and arrow-wielding tomboy at around the age of 12, pink became the order of the day.

My blue bedroom had to be repainted – everything I owned HAD to be pink! Anything went from neon to fuchsia to baby and barbie. But I don’t really wear pink anymore and haven’t for sometime – probably around the time I stopped idolising Paris Hilton!

But this season pink is back with a vengeance and looking peculiarly grown-up.

So I had a little play with what I could find of my pink clothes and suddenly had fallen in love all over again. I began twirling around my bedroom feeling like Linda Low from Flower Drum Song (see video) and obviously had to snapchat myself to everyone immediately!

This might just be misplaced nostalgia – so let me know what you think, does this all pink outfit work? Or should it just be reserved for the under 12s?

  1. Great website. Keep up the good work.

Girls will always be pretty in pink. As long as girls want to be pretty, pink will always be pretty.

Where is the rest of the cast from Alice?
